So on the old DPR (as I see we're calling it) there was a thread on using the Tamron 35-150/2-2.8 on a Megadap adapter. So I bought the adapter, waited for the lens to arrive. Now I have the lens too. The thread over there said the adapter was a 'tight fit'. Mine's so tight it won't go on at all. A case of two products at opposite ends of the manufacturing tolerance.

Adapter on lens or adapter+lens on cam.
My Z7 is a tight fit on some lens too. but only have native and adapted canon no sony.
You could try to hold the lens and turn the camera. -
I think the problem is the adapter too. I'm certainly not going to over torque it. I'll probably try another sample of the adapter, and if that doesn't work, give up and sell the lens.

Adapter on lens. It goes on the camera OK.

No difference, the problem is it blocks on the lens, at least up until the amount of torque I'm willing to use.
